A woman holding a placard with anti-war rhetoric arrived at a state-run television studio as they read the news on Monday night.

The sign, clearly visible after reading the information, read "Hoya war, stop the war, believe in the media, here they are lying to you."

The woman is said to be Marina Ovsyannikova, a former editor-in-chief of Channel 1 Russia TV. The television is closely controlled by the office of President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin, and only broadcasts the state line on what is happening in Ukraine.
