“We have incredible strength coming from this history that tells us we should never allow anybody else to dictate to us how we live our life. That is Rwanda today: we are humble people, we know where we come from, we listen but at the end of the day I want to assure you, that for as long as some of us are still here, we shall have to live our lives, the best way we can, like other people elsewhere in the world. We decided to do the most difficult thing: to forgive. But we cannot forget.” Said President Kagame | #Kwibuka29

"Your Excellency President of the Republic, Rwandans thank you for stopping the Genocide, comforting survivors, reviving hope and life for Rwanda. Those who are bound by the ideology of genocide should let it go and join Rwandans in their choice to be one, looking far and choosing what is right for them. Today marks the 29th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in #Rwanda. As we remember innocent people killed in the Genocide. Let's remember-unite-renew ." Min. Dr. Damascene.
