Aviation Africa 2022 it is a summit and exhibition that started on September 12th to 13th 2022 at Kigali Convention Centre where different airlines companies have discussed on different topics on how they should have a good collaboration.

Slovak Aviation Industry is one of the partners of Aviation Africa which its role is Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul.

It is on their 6th time of Aviation Africa, The airlines present in the exhibition are Rwandair, Qatar airways, Slovak aviation industry, Ethiopian airlines, Dar,Boeing and so on from all over the world.Aviation have a big role of transportation, development and safety of people and their stuff.Alan Peaford the Chairman of Aviation Africa due to pandemic of Covid-19 that affect the business in all categories they are still struggle with the Pandemic in order to give good service to the clients said Alan Peaford.

Slovak Aviation Industry is one of the partners of Aviation Africa which its role is Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul, Alfonz LISKA Commercial Director said that they involved in aviation business since 1949 and transformed into a 100 % government owned joint stock company in 2006 engaged in maintainance, repair, overhaul and modernization of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including avionics systems, subsystems, mechanical components, and airframes.

“Relevant capabilities are extensive purpose-built facilities, workshops, equipments and tooling to support core business activities; dedicated in house design and technological department which is qualified and competent to support aircraft upgrade and modernization programs LOTN owned and operated. Our competence is 400 employees include aviation engineers, technicians, mechanics and support stuff and their customer focus renowned provider of high quality aircraft maintenance services and technical support to the Solvak Air Force and a number of armed forces worldwide.In Africa we have partnership with Kenya and Uganda so we are thinking work together as it is our first time to be in Rwanda.” Said by Martin GAZAK Chief Executive Officer of Monitoring and Information System of Slovak Republic.

Air travel is essential to the prosperity of Africa as it opens up opportunities that did not exist before .Fostering the African Aviation industry may be one of the driving forces of regional integration the continent .Better connected African countries and regions through a viable air transport industry could be the catalyst that can boost intra-African business, trade, tourism as well as cultural exchange. Developing the aviation industry may also represent an opportunity to mitigate chronic transport problems faced by the 16 landlocked African countries.

During this event stakeholders in the aviation sector share their experiences and lesson learnt from the Covid-19.
