Some of the Survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi, from Rubengera Sector, in karongi district emphasized on the findings linked on the Financial Supports given by Government, and improved their incomes and increased wellbeing.
Also, they have mentioned thanks to the Financial supports Program ,while its managed impacted they livelihoods and financially which help them to join cooperatives and bought domestic animals like goats, etc. Towards economic developments and embrace sustainability.

“The financial supports Program it’s very important and Muchmore helpful to me, as a survivor I bought the domestic animals which helps to solve several issues, also as you might know, currently citizens urge to join cooperative, financial institutions, etc. my self I couldn’t stay behind due to that every month I choose to save 4000 Thousands Rwandan Francs in the financial institutions toward economic development and wellbeing.” HABIMANA Charles, one of the beneficially from Rubengera, Karongi District.
“For instance, while waiting another monthly I bought 11 goats, which mostly helps me to solved some majors’ challenges.” He added.
However, Survivors are grateful to the government toward self-resilience and particularly important through programs included education, financial opportunities, which strengthens them toward hope for future and sustainable development.
According to Mrs. INGABIRE Marie Rose, Beneficially of the monthly financial supports, from Rubengera Sector. Emphasized that with her fellows have decided to create and joined some small groups of financial income and cooperatives, where each among them can rent money to solve emergency issues on time. Also added that are very committed toward economic development resilience and sustainability. And she’s pleased the government of Rwanda, mostly to plan program and activities which improves they livelihood toward sustainability and hold future.
“This Program which established by The government is very important toward economic development through financial supports the Survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi. It’s meant to help them improve they livelihoods and financially to create jobs, and its planned particularly to those very old, who can’t even work them self at some difficult points like in Agriculture, etc. They can pay someone to fulfill the planned or given duties on their behalf and complete it. Also, which demonstrates commitment to furthermore embrace self-reliance.” Said Mrs. IBYISHAKA Brigitte, in charge of well-being in Rubengera sector, Karongi District.
Presently, the financial supports the Survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi, access Twelve Thousand Rwandan Francs as per month.” She added.
