Rwanda is hosting the International Conference of Parliamentarians of the Francophone Community of Independent States, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophone (APF).

More than 300 members from 4 regions of the world, including The Francophone, participated in the 47th session of the APF General Assembly on the theme of Global government: the role of Parliament in building lasting peace

A meeting of the General Assembly of the APF is preceded by Saturday and it is preceded by the Secretary General of the Francophone, Madame Louise MUSHIKIWABO, delivering a speech on behalf of the participants.

This is what happens on Tuesdays when other aunts meet at the office, the youth forum, the Women forum and other committees.

Normally, the General Assembly of the Parliament of La Francophone meets once a year, with the aim of maintaining a 2 years majority after COVID-19.

At a press conference on Tuesday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. Donatille Mukabalisa is the soul of those who meet; Rwanda will have a lot to share with its participant.

The meeting, which is being held in the Rwandan Parliament, is one of the preliminary meetings of the French-speaking Parliamentary Assembly to be held on July 9, 2022.
