ANNOUNCEMENT OF NATIONAL EXAMINATION RESULT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS AND ORDINARY LEVEL

The national examinations and school inspection authority NESA, in collaboration with the ministry of education, announced the national examination result for primary schools and ordinal level for academic year 2021/2022.

The student who became the first primary school the country is isezerano forever hyacinthe from muhanga district at saint andre giratama school. She was followed by ihirwe elyvine from mount karmere school from gasabo district.

and in the ordinary level, the best student in the country is ntrwari manzi albert who studied at academiy de la sun ifrom gicumbi district followed by inkindi agahozo peter paulla from indep from huye district.

5 children were awarded in primary schools and 5 children in the ordinary level. In primary schools, the students who took the did exam in the year 2021/2022 were 227,472, including 125,169 girls and 102,303 boys.

The passed are 206,286 equal to 90.69%. the number of students sent to boarding schools in the first year of high school is 26,922 in time those who sent in non boarding schools are 178,364. while those who went to the fourth year are in different courses including general education 35381 students sent to boarding schools and 15737 sent in non boarding schools with a total of 51118. in the category of tvet schools 44436 sent to boarding schools while those sent in non boarding schools are 525 .although in ttc students all 3099 will be accommodated, the assisting nursing students all 210 will also be accommodated. while accounting were included in the TVET School now they categorized alone , 4852 students they will also be accommodated .

As announced by the minister of education Dr. Valentine UWAMARIYA, the exams that took place this year are special, because they were prepared by the teachers of the students and then the results were taken, she also announced that in announcing the grades there was a change in the way the grades are placed in the categories that were known as (division) and he announced that the primary school students passed at a rate of 90.69% while the general secondary school passed at a rate of 85.66%. this test was conducted from 18/07/2022 to 05/08/202.

National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) is a government institution established in 2020 by the presidential order No N° 123/01 of 15/10/2020 published in Official Gazette N° 32 bis of 19/10/2020. It was established under the Ministry of Education, to be at the center by monitoring the implementation of Norms and Standards through school inspections and also administrate the comprehensive assessments from level one (1) to level (5) in TVET and Basic Education in line with Competence Based Curriculum / Training. Also to ensure quality of education in basic education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) from level one (1) to five (5) and to regulate the comprehensive assessments of students and national examinations.
